Ghana's Election 2004 Braces For A Major Surprise As Former Ghanaian-American Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Announces His Candidacy For Parliamentary Seat In His Homeland.
Upon "King Solomon's advice" from Ghanaians living abroad or around the World, former Ghanaian-American Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate has announced his candidacy to run for [Parliamentary seat in Ghana's 2004 Elections] and has appealed to Ghanaians around the World to sponsor or finance his campaign as soon as possible, assuring both Ghanaians at home and Ghanaians abroad that he will not rest until the best interest of Ghana (Africa in general) and their best interests are represented in Ghana's parliament.

Boateng says he plans to return to Ghana as soon as possible to contest for the Parliamentary seat (if his Exploratory Campaign Committee could raise the necessary funds within Ghanaian Communities to finance his campaign).

" I am going to fight for the best interest of Ghana, and the best interest of Africa, our Motherland. I am also going to fight for your genuine interest. That is why you should support and finance my campaign", Boateng appealed to Ghanaian Communities around the World.

" Invest wisely in my Campaign". !!! Boateng further appealed to Ghanaians at Home and Ghanaians abroad.

Extending Voting rights to Ghanaians living abroad, Creating Job opportunities, Attracting Investors to Ghana, Promoting Ethnic Unity, Racial Unity or National Unity; Providing Quality Education, Quality Healthcare services; Fighting Poverty and Crime; Fighting Corruption, Providing efficient Transportation system and Affordable Housing; Protecting the Environment, etc are some of my Campaign Platforms as I enter into Ghana's Parliamentary election -2004.

" I can assure you of a Landslide Victory in a Free and Fair election if I have the necessary financial means", the energetic and charismatic politician known for his trade mark of "Political Bravery" added.

Kwame Appiah Boateng, the emerging "new breed" Politician in Ghana's political development whose organization, the "Ghanaians Abroad Coalition" first called for the creation of Parliamentary seat for Ghanaians living abroad and also, politely appealed for the [immediate implementation] of "Ghana's Dual Citizenship," says he will fight like a wounded Tiger to promote the noble principles of Democracy, Freedom, Liberty, Human Rights, Civil Rights, Ethnic Unity or National Unity, Free Market system, and the [un-compromising] principles of the right of [all] people in the World - including Africans to live in Dignity in their own Land as free Men and Women with the "Statute of Liberty" as their inspiration.

As a Parliamentarian, I will help to contribute to building a peaceful environment in Ghana and also, help to build a "Kinder and Gentler" relationship between Ghana and the United States of America as well as a "Kinder and Gentler" relationship with other Democracies in Africa, Europe, Asia, and Latin America, etc.

" I will help create the most business friendly environment for investors to invest in Ghana" Boateng announced.

Turning to Africa in general, Boateng said : "Africa Must [still] Unite " and her sons and daughters must leave in peace, and unity in an environment of Democracy, Freedom, Liberty and Prosperity".

On his strategic and innovative ideas, Boateng says history has vindicated him.

Although he did [not] officially enter into the 2000 Ghana's Presidential race which he began preparing himself towards that lofty goal ([as far back as1996/1997] - when he developed innovative campaign Platforms under "Ghana Salvation Party" which was later changed to "All Africans National Convention"-AANC), the ideas Boateng developed into Campaign Platforms are for historians to "digest" and be the best judges.

Boateng's (1996/1997) Campaign Platform called for "Dual Citizenship" for people of African descent all over the World including African-Americans and Caribbeans.

In the [same] Campaign Platform developed in (1996/1997), Boateng also called for setting up "Truth and Reconciliation Commission" to probe Human Rights abuses and other Political Crimes and End Political Persecution and Retribution".

Although the former Ghanaian-American Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate is [not] the first to establish "Sister Schools", he is quoted in Newspapers for calling for linking up American schools with schools around the World - especially "Sister Schools" between American Schools and Ghanaian Schools".

Boateng linked up an American school - Crenshaw High school with his former High school in Ghana - Konongo-Odumasi Secondary School, (popularly known as "Great Koss") in 2002 and his efforts prompted the powerful American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC News Channel 7) to travel all the way to Ghana to visit his former school which was aired on America's Television on February 04, 2003 entitled "Crenshaw High School with a High School in Ghana" and also aired on March 02, 2003 under the title : " The Journey to Africa"

Also, Boateng is [not] the first to advocate for linking up "Sister Cities" but is on record for making the first call for linking up "American Cities with Cities around the World" - especially, American Cities with Cities in Ghana. (Reference to Accra Mail Newspaper story of November 20002).

In addition, the former Ghanaian-American Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate is on record as being the first person to call for the creation of "Ghana Community Banks" >[AROUND THE WORLD] or "Ghana Community Credit Unions / Ghana Community Savings and Loans" > (AROUND THE WORLD) - in addition to "Ghana Community Educational and Cultural Centers > (AROUND THE WORLD)" - as his electronic mails to Ghanaians and Americans as well as Press Releases to the News Media (as far back as 2001) empirically proves.

Moreover, Boateng has advocated establishing "Sister Hospitals Projects" by linking up American Hospitals with Hospitals around the World, (especially linking up American Hospitals with Hospitals in Ghana).

Furthermore, Boateng has established "Motherland Taxation Fund" and is appealing to Ghanaians abroad and Africans in the Diaspora, especially African Americans and Caribbeans to "voluntarily" pay taxes to Africa, especially Ghana every year.

In a show of true love for his Motherland - Ghana and Africa in general, Boateng continues to appeal to World institutions to help the people in his Motherland (and) the entire Continent of Africa with Billions of grants ("Free Money") beginning this year until the next 25 or 50 years in order to enable the Continent to build up permanent Democratic institutions and lay the foundation for prosperity.

The former Ghanaian-American Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate is appealing to (Ghanaians around the World) and all friends who are Believers in Democracy, Freedom, Liberty, Equality, "Friends of Ghana - around the World" and "Friends of Africa - around the World" to sponsor his [2004] Parliamentary Candidacy in Ghana in order to crusade for a Parliamentary seat for Ghanaians living abroad and also, to fight for their interests and the best interest of Ghana and Africa in general.

" I am prepared to stand as an Independent Candidate for a Parliamentary seat (if that option becomes necessary), [or] on the ticket of a Political Party which champions the same noble ideas Ghanaians around the World and I stand for, " said Boateng.

" Politics is my Calling !!!. God wants me to do good for humanity through the political arena and that is why HE has fought my "political battles" and even "political wars" and brought down the Goliaths who tried to bully or oppress me," said Boateng, referring to how he stood up gallantly to a [few] intolerant racists and their stooges who tried to use all available tools of a Super Power to bully and oppress him in a naked and failed effort to prevent him from running for public office in Los Angeles during the racially-motivated and politically-motivated "Trial of the Century", - but were morally defeated by the ["Kinder and Gentler" side of America] - the Land of the Free and Home for the Brave.

Asked whether he would run for President of Ghana in [2008] (or) thereafter, - in case he wins a Parliamentary seat in the 2004 elections, the former Ghanaian-American Los Angeles Mayoral candidate replied :

" No Comment at this time". " I will answer that important question at the appropriate time."
