United Force for Development International (UF4D) proudly celebrates Abdul-Mumin Yussif on his selection as one of the distinguished scholars for the 2025 Global Environmental Justice Conference “Environmental Joy: Writing the Future,” hosted by the Yale Center for Environmental Justice (YCEJ) at Yale University, USA.

The conference brings together global voices to explore innovative approaches to environmental and climate justice rooted in harmony, healing and hope.

Abdul-Mumin’s recognition reflects his outstanding leadership in advancing climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, disaster risk reduction, and community empowerment across Ghana and beyond.

Based in Tamale, Ghana, Abdul-Mumin serves as the Program Manager for Climate Resilience and Sustainable Agriculture at UF4D.

His impactful work includes hosting national dialogues on Early Warning and Anticipatory Action, mentoring at Barcamp Tamale, training MEDA GROW 2 women on converting agricultural waste into charcoal and leading the Empowering Local Communities for Climate Action (ELCCA) initiative.

An alumnus of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community (Tamale Hub), a Climate Reality Mentor, and the National Focal Person for Ghana for the Global Network of Civil Society Organizations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR), Abdul-Mumin continues to champion inclusive climate solutions that inspire joy, resilience, and sustainable development.
