Agave Citizens In UK, Ireland Donate To 30 Schools

The United Kingdom and Ireland branchy of the Agave development Association (ADA) has donated furniture to all the 30 kindergartens in the Agave Traditional Area in the Volta Region.

The package comprises 200 tables and 800 chairs, procured from 2000 pounds remitted to the local union for the project. The chairman of the Agave Education Committee, Mr. Hudson Ablordeppey, handed over the furniture to the district directorate of the Ghana Education Service at a ceremony at Sogakope.

He said the donation was focused on kindergartens to create a conducive environment for grooming children.

The chairman for the occasion, MR. Oscar Ameyedowo, said life was not rosy abroad and added that the gesture was a real manifestation of love for their home.
