The Ghanaian community in France met the new ambassador Mrs Anna Bossman over the weekend to deliberate on her plans ahead.
It was her maiden interaction with the Ghanaian community since being appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. She is also oversees Portugal and a permanent delegate to UNESCO, OECD and la Francophonie.
According to her, her top most priority is to strengthen unity among Ghanaians within her jurisdiction and expressed gratitude to the President for her appointment.
She said she will give a lot of attention to the youth, adding she will introduce programmes aimed at assisting them to become responsible adults.
Mrs. Bossman encouraged Ghanaians living abroad to consider returning home to invest as part of means to boost the local economy.
She promised to be a mother for all irrespective of political persuasions. “My doors are always open and so feel free to come to the Embassy when you have issues bothering you,” the former boss of CHRAJ told the gathering.
Present at the event were the deputy head of mission Bonaventure Adjavor and head of mission Mr. Timothy Aidoo.
They assured Ghanaians living in France of efforts being put in place to provide a passport machine to ensure rapid renewal of passports.
