The Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Sun Baohong, on Friday, 16th January, 2015, paid a courtesy call on the Chairman and General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party at the party's Asylum-Down headquarters in Accra.
Matters discussed centered on Ghana's democratic governance and China's continued assistance to ensuring the sustenance of Ghana's democratic agenda. The Chinese Ambassador lauded Ghana's political parties for their commitment to democratic governance, and also, the high level of political awareness of the citizens.
On their part,Mr Afofo and Kwabena Agyepong,the party's Chairman and General Secretary,respectively,reiterated the commitment of NPP to Ghana's democratic process by ensuring Ghanaians are free to exercise their democratic rights, and also, make useful contributions to ensure that processes before, during and after each electoral cycle, are conducted in free, air and transparent atmosphere.
