Christ Miracle Gospel Ministries in Sweden

Yes, we thank the Lord for making it happen for the CMGMI again in Europe for the opening of a new branch in Stockholm, Sweden. This is the newest addition to this ever-increasing family of the Christ Miracle, an off-shoot of the Mount Horeb Prayer Centre in Mamfe, Akwapem. To crown it all, the occasion was graced by the presence of Prophet Paul Nii Okai, whom the Lord gave the original vision and by whose obedience and dedication the Ministry has grown from strength to strength. With the Servant of God among the saints, the glory of God fell down on the house so much so that the three days from 17th to 19th December 2004 was like the Book of Acts being replayed. We give glory to the Lord for still confirming His Word with signs and wonders following. The Prophet used the occasion to introduce a 12 man interim Working Committee to help run the day-to-day business of the house. Also he appointed Elder Tony Acquah-Ghann, from the London Branch to oversee the new branch assisted by Elder Micah Kissi. In his welcoming speech, Elder Micah Kissi said "On behalf of the branch I thank the Prophet for having us in his mind to come to Sweden to see what we have started and we are glad he is happy"

Prophet Nii Okai made a memorable statement during one of the services. He said "My brethren, I say, we should be united and committed as pillar of the church to the vision of CMGMI. The Ark of God that has been brought to Stockholm should be a blessing unto us where the obscure becomes a star." He also advised members of the branch to work together in peace, love and in unity.

The assembly in Stockholm also expresses their gratitude to the London Branch whose financial support and prayers has now given birth to the newest branch in the general assembly of CMGMI. Your tremendous input of love and resources have inspired us here in Stockholm to embrace the Ark of God.

Lest we forget during the Saturday service, we had in attendance the Ghanaian born Swedish MP, Honourable Joe Frans, a child of God, and also an Ethiopian born Chairman of the Borough of Rinkeby in the person of Mr Abebe Hailu. Honourable Joe Frans said "I was impressed to find a church that uses both Akan and English as a means of communication in a Nordic country. The world is getting closer and therefore important to preserve our culture by using the mother tongue. This is a good initiative and I hope that it will go a long way to encourage the Ghanaian Christian community in Sweden." We are honoured to be accorded such a visit by these high level state officials. May the Lord richly bless them and use them for his glory in the affairs of running the nation with wisdom and discretion that flows from the Lord.

Thank God for the life of Prophet Nii Okai for coming down in person to receive us into the family. We also thank the London Branch, which sponsored the initial work by sending advanced team, comprising Elder Isaac Quainoo and Elder Tony, to facilitate the preparatory work and also all the local founding members. Elder Isaac Quainoo and Elder Tony! May the Lord continue to use you to support the work of God, we are grateful to you for your dedication to God's work which you tirelessly displayed amongst us. The Stockholm Branch sees these men of God as part and parcel of the branch for their humility, caring, teachings and most of all their patience towards the congregation. All praise and thanksgiving belong to the Lord who has made it possible for a new branch to be established in Stockholm, Sweden. Hallelujah! Amen in Jesus mighty Name.
