Congratulatory message from NDC UK and IRELAND

CONGRATULATION – HON JOHN MAHAMA

We members of National Democratic Congress (United Kingdom & Ireland) congratulate Honourable John Dramani Mahama on his selection by Professor John Atta-Mills as his running mate for the presidency of Ghana in December 2008 General Elections.

We believe that Professor could not have chosen a better person than Honourable Mahama. Though the names that came up both publicly and behind the scene are all accomplished and capable people to fit the slot. But Hon Mahama having successful won and retained a parliamentary seat in three consecutive times puts him in a very unique position above the others. We believe his youthfulness will also bring new vigour to the presidency.

The NPP administration has created a two-nation Ghana and we therefore need a person who is a conciliator, calm and determined to reunite the nation. This is what we find in Hon John Mahama. We believe such a man will compliment very well “Asomdwehene” Prof. John Evans Atta-Mills.

We call all members of the NDC to rally behind the duo. We believe the two are a winning team for a better and a one nation Ghana. We urge all Ghanaians to vote for Professor Atta-Mills and John Mahama ticket. Long live the NDC! Long Live Ghana!
