Thu, 27 Feb 2003 Source: THE GHANAIAN VOICE

While Ghanaians have been called upon to bite the bullet, the Ghana Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Alhassan, has deserted his residence in Bonn, Germany, to rent a house which cost 500 euros (?4.6m) at Berlin to stay in and work.

This was made known at a press conference organised by an International Human Rights Activist, Mr. Anthony Rau, a Ghanaian living in Germany.

He lamented over the foreign policies of the country, saying that the Government has failed 90 per cent of Ghanaians living abroad. He said apart from the corruption going on at the Ghana Embassy in Germany, the government has not been truthful to Ghanaians.
