Ghanaians have been admonished to demonstrate their disgust and apprehension towards the high level of corruption in government and vote massively against President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC during the forthcoming elections scheduled for December 7, 2016.

Speaking on Harbour City Radio last Tuesday, Mr Kwaku Anane-Gyinde, National Organiser of NPP-Germany pointed out that a vote against the highly corrupt and grossly incompetent President Mahama has become necessary and inevitable so as to extricate Ghana from the current economic crisis and the attendant hardships.

According to him, Ghanaians not only deserve but also have a legitimate expectation that elected leaders demonstrate the highest sense of honesty and integrity by making prudent use of the country’s resources for the benefit of all citizens and not just party cronies, family and friends as is the case under the Mahama-led government.

Mr Anane-Gyinde noted that President Mahama has over the past eight years proved to Ghanaians that he is undoubtedly the worst President the country has ever had in terms of performance and said: “President Mahama has misruled the country, mismanaged the economy and misapplied our resources for his personal gains.”

He insisted that in view of their abysmal performance, President Mahama and the NDC do not deserve a third term in office but should be voted out and possibly sent to jail where they belong, arguing that a vote for Mahama amounts to an endorsement of incompetence, a reward for corruption and a prolongation of economic hardships, poverty and social deprivation.

Mr Anane-Gyinde said the December 7 provides an opportunity for Ghanaians to change the future direction of the country and they can only do so by voting for Nana Akuffo- Addo, who has over four decades proved to be incorruptible and demonstrable integrity and has the right policies to turn Ghana around.

He reminded Ghanaians that what the country needs and indeed, deserves at this crucial period in her political history is a new type of leadership that will put people before party and also develop policies and programmes that will lure to the benefit of the ordinary Ghanaians and said the NPP and Nana Akuffo-Addo remain the best option for Ghana and Ghanaians.

According to him, the One District One Factory, One Village One Dam, the reduction of Corporate Taxes and the Free Senior High School policies among others in the Party manifesto, are practical solutions to the major problems confronting the country and not just campaign promises saying “these policies in our manifesto are feasible and achievable, and we intend to implement them to shame our critics and detractors if Ghanaians give us the mandate on 7 December”.

Mr Anane-Gyinde made a passionate appeal to Ghanaians to give the NPP and Nana Akuffo-Addo the chance to change the destiny of Ghana because it is the only party with the right leadership, policies and programmes to end the current crisis and the set the country on the path to prosperity and development.
