We are proud to announce that Ms. Eunice Cofie , a pre-med student of Tallahassee, FL, has been selected to participate in the fourth annual Student National Medical Association 2004 Ghana Medical Mission! For the past three years, the SNMA has partnered with the Nene Katey Ocansey I Learning and Technology Center (Neko Tech), a community-based organization, to launch the pilot for the Save a Million Lives HIV/AIDS Education and Prevention program (SaML) in Ada, Ghana.

The goal of this project is to develop a model for the prevention of HIV/AIDS in rural Ghana. In 2003, SNMA and SaML?s focused on working with the Community Health Educators and Nurses to deliver HIV/AIDS education the people in the villages of Ada.
