My name is Felicia Acheampong, 20 years of age and a senior at Berkeley College. I am currently studying Criminal Justice (BA) and will continue to pursue my law career. Was born in Ghana and came to the United States at the age of 14, I speak and understand Akan. I am a very intelligent, hardworking, like meeting new people and a God fearing person. I come from a family of four; being the first born I take a lot of responsibilities like being a role model to my brother and my cousins as well as young children who reach out to me.

I love sports so joined the track and field team In my freshmen year. It was a big transformation for me coming from Ghana because the education system was different, the environment and even the people. I was the captain of the track team from freshmen year till junior year in high school. I had to adapt to the changes that was thrown my way, like the weather changes and school schedules. I accomplished a lot by the short time I entered this country which was in 2006, I graduated high school with a 3.5 gpa and has been on the dean’s list in college since 2010. I am an aspiring model; my breakthrough was my first fashion show in 2011 for Berkeley College
