1. Church Service Kick-off Sunday, 4 March 2007.

There will be special kick-off church services at the following Churches to mark the start of the Ghana@ 50 celebrations in Denmark. 2. Independence Day Party Saturday, 10 March 2007.


The Ghana Union in collaboration with the Ghana Embassy has the pleasure to invite all Ghanaians to an evening of Ghanaian culture, music, food and fun galore.

Gate fee 50 Dkr. (Free for paid members)

First free drink to all and special Anniversary gifts to the first hundred entrants.


3. Joint Thanksgiving Church Service


Saturday, 17 March 2007.


The Ghana Union in collaboration with Ghanaian Pastors will organise a Joint Non-Denominational Thanks-giving Church Service for Ghana’s Independence.

4. Durbar Day June/July 2007.


The Ghana Union in collaboration with the Akan Fekuw presents a Ghanaian cultural display in the form of a Durbar of chiefs. The other ethnic groups will be invited with Mr. Kofi Annan, the former United Nations General Secretary delivering the keynote Address.
