New Delhi, September 11: AIRPORT customs officials have arrested Collins Antwi, a Ghana National, who was found carrying 1,135 gram heroin concealed in his body.

Antwi was intercepted following his suspicious behaviour in the departure hall at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Saturday, said police.
After sustained interrogation, he admitted to acting as a courier for drugs, said airport police.
Medical examinations showed he was carrying around 89 capsules of heroin, worth approximately Rs 1.13 crore in the international market, said police.
Antwi was arrested yesterday under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, police said.
Based on profiling, customs officials have interdicted six drug couriers, and arrested eight others in the past six months.
“It is difficult to detect drugs concealed in the body and this has emerged as one of the most used means of smuggling,” said a senior official.
