Dr. Abdul Razak Toure displays his plaque
A Ghanaian doctor based in Nigeria, Dr. Abdul Razak Toure, has been celebrated for his continuous contributions to the growth of the country’s health sector.
Dr. Razak's works received a recent acknowledgement when he was adjudged the Community Health Icon at the just-ended West African Icon Awards in Nigeria.
The event, organised by CEMS Nigeria, recognised the work of the Ghanaian doctor in promoting community-based health and for contributing his quota to the advancement of the health sector of Nigeria.
“Sir, this honour was as a result of your effort and good works in upliftment of mankind with special emphasis on West Africa teaming (men, women and kids), on free healthcare and screening of illnesses ranging from diabetes, hypertension, malaria, sickle cell disease and others.
“You have used and still using your good offices with your resources to provide enabling environment and friendly atmosphere, standard of living to great people of West Africa,” a letter inviting him for the recognition earlier stated.
Reacting to this, Dr. Abdul Razak Toure said that he has been encouraged to do even more than he already is doing.
"I am excited to be honored continuously for my work in the health sector. I am inspired by these recognitions to give off more of my best to the society," Dr. Toure said after he was awarded.

Dr. Abdul Razak Toure, born on July 7, 1974, is a commercially-minded international relations and professional Medical Practitioner, a body detoxification specialist, and a business development manager.
Moreover, he is also a seasoned project management professional and a marketer with proven business judgment, strong strategic capability, leadership, and general management experience as well as an extended record of excellence in matrix environments. He possesses a myriad of experiences mined from several years of dedication to work, life, and addressing human challenges.

In the area of education, between 2020 and 2022, he acquired a U.S Agency for Global Media Cert from the U.S Agency for Global Media; and a Diploma in Holistic Practice from the Al-Anazi Islamic and Holistic Institute (Saudi Arabia) between 2018 – 2019. At the Heidelberg University (Germany) between 2011 and 2014, he received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Health Management.
In his earlier educational life, he attended the Super Star College Advance Institute (Accra–New Town) between 1994-1996 for his GCE A’Level; the Christian Methodist Secondary School in Accra between 1989–1994 for his G.C.E O’Level; the New Nation International School in Accra between 1982-1988 where he was awarded a school testimonial and a late entrance certificate.
