This Saturday, the 17th of November, 2012 Ghanaians in China will be converging at the JUNSHAN HOTEL CONFERENCE CENTER in Guangzhou City to participate in the 2012 Peace Congress.

The event, which is being jointly organized by the China branches of the NPP and NDC is under the theme “Ghanaians in China: Our Role in Ensuring Peaceful Elections” and it is meant to create the platform for all Ghanaians in China to deliberate on ways we can contribute positively towards peaceful elections in December.

It is also aimed at sending a clear message to supporters of all political parties, not to engage in acts of violence before, during and after the elections because we are one Nation, one People, with a common destiny and the things that unite us far exceed the things that divide us.

As part of the program, there will be a special non-denominational Prayer Service for peaceful elections. There will also be Peace Games and a Peace Dinner.

All Ghanaians living in China- students, teachers, business people, members of PPP, CPP, NPP, NDC, Christians, Muslims, etc are encouraged to attend this important program so that together we can pray to the Almighty to see our nation through this year’s elections.

The program will start at 3:30pm prompt. The address of the conference center is Junshan Hotel, 137 Guangyuan West Road, Guangzhou.
