Kojo Bonsu calls for rapid development and youth well-being in Ghana

Ghana's Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Kojo Bonsu, has emphasised that Ghana needs transformative leadership, driven by prosperity and youth empowerment.

Inspired by China's development, Bonsu said he seeks to replicate these successes by China in Ghana through strategic partnerships.

This, he is doing through such current moves such as securing Chinese investment assurances and promising opportunities for Ghanaian youth.

Barely three months in office, the ambassador has been seen engaging Chinese businessmen and women, visiting corporate organizations and factories in the various provinces of the People’s Republic of China and seeking their establishments and investments in Ghana.

He has vowed to visit every province to tap in their special skills and the knowledge peculiar to each province and ensure its reflects in the various regions in Ghana.

He also said that he expects every region in Ghana to master their skills and use them for national development.

"You can see from my private life to my public sector activities that I always want to bring positive change," he stated.

Known as the "Gen Z President," Kojo Bonsu prioritises youth needs, championing the John Dramani Mahama government's reset agenda to attract investors.

His vision focuses on:

- Accelerating Development: Leveraging China-Ghana ties for growth; - Empowering Youth: Creating opportunities for Ghana's future leaders; - Transformative Leadership: Driving progress through partnerships.

Kojo Bonsu added that the John Mahama government is definitely on course with its reset agenda and he will champion all the development agenda to woo investors from the People’s Republic of China to Ghana.

He assured the youth of Ghana that as the Gen Z President, he prioritises their needs as they are the future leaders of Ghana.
