Jehovah’s Witnesses Invite all Ghanaians to their Annual Convention in Twi Language
TREVISO — Saturday and Sunday August 6-7, 2011 a Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Twi (Ghanaian) language will take place in the Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in San Vitale di Canizzano, via delle Maleviste, 1 (Treviso). The program will begin at 9.20 am and will close on Saturday at 5 pm and on Sunday at 4 pm.
This event will give the possibility to all Ghanaians spread all over Italy, from the north to the south, to gather together and listen to upbuilding strengthening discourses based on the Bible in their own mother tongue Twi.
The theme of the Convention is: ‘Let God’s Kingdom Come!’ based on Matthew 6:10. Questions like: What is God’s Kingdom? When will it come, and with what effect? will be answered during the program. The program will strengthen the faith in the reality of God’s Kingdom.
A Public Bible Discourse with the theme: ‘Will Humans Ruin This Earth?’ will be pronounced on Sunday. It will show how this planet will soon be transformed into a paradise and how everybody can qualify to live there.
One of the most important moments will be the baptism of new Jehovah’s Witnesses by water immersion on Saturday morning. Moreover, two dramas will be presented including a modern-day drama and a full-costume Bible drama.
Each day will develop a theme based on a different Bible scripture such as Matthew 6:33 and 2 Peter 1:11. Jehovah’s Witnesses are making a special effort to extend a personal invitation to all Ghanaians in Italy to attend the Convention with them. Approximately 700 people will meet at the Assembly Hall during that week-end in order to listen to the Bible based program.
The invitation to participate is open to everybody. Admission is free and there is no collections. Jehovah’s Witnesses Conventions are entirely supported by voluntary donations.
