Ohemaa Aduanwoma Ahoufe
A Kwahuman Hemaa of Minnesota in the United States of America (USA), Ohemaa Ofosuah Aduanwoma Ahoufe has donated items to support Kwahu Ahenase, a community in the Kwahu West District in the Eastern Region which she had adopted to support in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus .
The donated items included, veronica buckets, cartons of liquid soaps, sanitizers and tissue papers.
The donation was intended to demonstrate to the community her commitment to create awareness on the need to observe all the safety measures and protocol.
Ohemaa Aduanwoma Ahoufe who is also the founder of Nananom Royals Global Network , a US based charity organisation, encouraged the chiefs and leaders in the community to always ensure that the people observe social distancing, use face masks, wash their hands with soap under running water frequently and apply hand sanitizer to prevent the spread of the virus.
She pledged to bring philanthropists from both home and abroad to assist the community to deal with their health care delivery and educational needs. Nana Okoampata Boateng, the Chief of Kwahu Ahenase thanked Ohemaa Aduanwoma Ahoufe for the donation.
He appealed to her and other benevolent organisations to come to the aid of the community to help build a clinic for them, because they have to travel kilometers to the nearest clinic at Kotoso before they can access health care.
Nana Boateng said the only school in the community is in a deplorable state and needed renovation to promote learning and improve the standard of education in the community.
He said the community needed an information centre to help them communicate and spread information to others in this technological era.
