Ghanaians in Italy witnessed an occasion that many described as one of the best Shows in italy.the first ever Miss Ghana in italy was held at pordenone and girls From all over came to representthe various regions.ghanaians from all over italy Descended on Pordenone, some drove for hours, others came with specially hired buses all to witness Miss Ghana.
His Excellency Dr. Kofi Dsane Selby (Ghana’s ambassador to Italy) and his beautiful wife were the special guests of honour as well as the ceo of aquimpex Cosmetics, chairman Calabrese.
Twelve girls did represent the various cities and at the end, 16-year-old Nari Achaempomaa Banieh, an accounting student representing Pordenone was crowned miss Ghana, followed by 19 year old Miss Abigail of verona also an accountant student And 21 years old miss Edith of arzignano, who is a model.
His Excellency dr, selby used the occasion to encouraged all Ghanaians to be good Ambassadors of our great land and to help promote the good image of mother Ghana And also to wish all Ghanaians well and urged them to patronise programs of these Nature. He said he his term here in Italy has come to an end and will be going back To Ghana in august and continue the great service that he rendered to Ghanaians While here.we all do wish him well.
