McDonough, GA, USA -- A 20-year-old Ghanaian woman who was reported missing is not really missing. It turns out she simply did not want to go back to Ghana.
Late last month, Matilda Laryea left her home to attend an adult education class in Marietta. Her family reported her missing, to the police, because she never got to her destination. She had been in the United States only a month and spoke little English.
Matilda's father called the Cobb County police a few days later to say she didn’t want to go home.
