The National Council of Ghanaian Associations (NCOGA), the powerhouse US based organization recently organized the launching of a telecommunications report on Ghana in New York.
Fresh from that event to continue their service to the community, they are leaving no stone unturn. They are organizing another event; An Open Forum on Travel and Health on SATURDAY OCTOBER 29, 2005 at the Faculty Dining Area of the Music building at Lehman College from 2 PM to 8PM.
Representatives from North American Airlines will be on hand to answer questions on issues and concerns that the public may have. They will alsotake information and suggestions on how to improve their services to Ghanaians.
Preceding the open forum, many Ghanaian doctors will be on hand to give free medical check up including; asthma screening from the noted Ghanaian Chest Specialist; Dr. Raji Ayinla, a regular contributor to CBS 2 News on pulmonary diseases. Other noted participants to the Health Fair include Affinity Health Plan, offering free or low cost health insurance coverage for individuals as well as families.
Dr. Benjamin Dodoo, a noted Physician and Philanthropist and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NCOGA, also promised to bring other institutions to participate in the fair.
