The Amsterdam Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) last Saturday evening elected their executives, the election was held at the premises of WISPA KIDS, Develstien 35/36.
Most of the past interim executive members retained their positions, Mr. Pat Dobge, popularly known as Uncle Pat was elected chairman unopposed.

Treasurer -Mrs Babara Williams
Public Relations Officer -Mr. John MacNally -Boateng
Assistant Public Relations Officer -Mr. John Amponsah
Youth Organiser -Mr. Tony Koufie
Assistant Youth Organizer -Nana Adawuruma
Women Oganiser- Miss Anita Arthur-Nyann
Assistant Women's Organiser -Miss Amina Iddrisu
The election was conducted by Mr. Joe Lamptey of Sikaman Foundation and Alhaji Ouru- Akondo. Mr. Sammy Lartey, acting Public Relations officer of the Den Helder NDC branch in the Netherlands was also present as an observer. Mr. Prince Tawiah Beidu (a.k.a. Osaman) a radio presenter working with Shalom Radio, Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region covered the election.
Mr. Pat Dogbe, thanked the past interim executives for working hard to make the NDC Amsterdam Branch very active and advised the new executives to be firm and committed to promote the cause of the Party. He gave the assurance that the NDC would regain power in 2008 and urged members to maintain the spirit to emerge victorious while they guard against negative practices that could divide them. He also encouraged all sympathisers and well wishers not to be intimidated by any negative comments from any quarters but rather pull their resources and efforts together to enable the NDC come to power.
Finally,the chairman touched on the preparations of the coming of the flagbearer Prof. John Evans Atta Mills to the Netherlands Also present were two of the NDC Amsterdam branch Patrons Madam Gifty Manukure the director of WIPSA KIDS and Alhaji Joe Ibrahim.
