Members of the NDC Amsterdam branch are in a very jubilant mood today, after the results of the verdict, and are making plans for a jubilant celebration in the city of Amsterdam - The Netherlands. After nine excruciating months of ridicule by NPP members in Amsterdam and around the globe towards NDC members, it is a relief to have this whole saga behind us.
We want to take the opportunity to thank and commend the 9 Supreme Court Judges for their patience, professionalism and above all love for mother Ghana, in delivering a JUST verdict, which upheld the Presidency of H. E. John Dramani Mahama, and also gave grounds to restore trust and dignity to the highest office of our land - Ghana. We are a people of peace, and in as much as a few rogue reminants filled with personal greed and selfishness want see the entire country push towards their personal agenda and not that of the national interest.
Special thanks goes to the notable media houses, ModernGhana, SpyGhana, MyjoyOnline to name a few , that were quite dilligent in reporting the news as is, and making sure that the facts are presented to the people of Ghana. And all the concerned citizens of our great nation, that advocated for a peaceful resolution to the court case should be commended too. Speaking to a group of Ghanaians in the Amsterdam Southeast area, the Interim Chairman of the NDC Amsterdam Branch Mr. Dodoo said, Ghanaians in Amsterdam would awaken to a new dynamic , responsible and mature leadership, that is very solution oriented toward the gratifying of Ghana's national interest.
NDC Amsterdam Branch calls on all NDC members in the diaspora, to start preparations for celebrations, because it is indeed time for re-grouping and re-strategizing towards 2016 to ensure that we do not have to go down this horribly path again as a nation. We take it upon ourselves to work hand in hand with Head Office of our NDC party, to ensure that the 2016 elections sees us soaring like never before. To all NDC members in the Netherlands, be ready for upcoming monthly meeting, which would be to draw up our Celebrations. EYE ZU EYE ZA , EDEY BE KEKE!!
