The ndc China, on July, 16th, 2016, successfully launched its campaign, for this year's general elections slated for November 7.This, is to form a formidable team to help champion the course of NDC and some of it's achievements to the Ghanaian populace. It's also meant to solicit for funds and some party paraphernalia for onward delivery to constituencies across the country. It was held in Changsha, a vibrant city in China. It was massively patronized and attended by the teeming rank and file members, sympathizers and well- wishers across China.
The euphoria and the joy, that greeted the conference, could be seen amongst the chapter faithfuls, in their party colors, chanting of party slogans, and the near all round decoration of the hall , brought the whole place into a state of agog.
The campaign launch, also, brought together dignitaries from Ghana embassy - Beijing. It was well represented officially, which added some lust and beauty to the conference.
Among the dignitaries, who graced the general campaign launch, include: The Ambassador to China, H.E Anani O.Demuyakor and the deputy Ambassador, in the person of H.E Nii Horace Ankrah.
The theme for the campaign launch was Dubbed : Operation Spread The Good Messages Of JDM.
Apart from Its campian launch,the ndc China , used the occasion , to also launch the chapter's new website. In other to canvas more for members for the NDC family. The website which is an interactive based would allow members to join the umbrella family regardless to where one lives in China. The creation of the chapter's website, has further boosted its image and position the chapter in a better light, to propagate the agenda of ndc and the chapter's core duties. It is a laudable step taking .
The chapter's website, can be accessed through www.ndcchinachapter.com.It is well created and smartly designed, allowing both members and non members, the chance to comment and write their posts.
During the campaign launch, H.E Anani O. Demuyakor, the Ambassador to China, in his speech, admonished all the chapter executives and supporters, to work harder through selfishless efforts, to make sure that, the chapter stands without let or hindrance.He said, that party work, should be tireless amongst the executives and the supporters alike.That working for the growth of ndc should be seen as sacrifices based on love for the party and not based on only material gains, when one involves in party organisation and work.He advised that, with commitment, dedication and hard work, the ndc shall win and the benifits will in turn, extend to all in the country.He reminded all to spread ndc's achievements to their love ones back home, defend the party and convince people to vote for the ndc come July 7th.In this way, the changing lives and the transformations will continue for mother Ghana.
The deputy Ambassador, H.E Horace, on his part, challenged the chapter executives, to create vibrant branches by making sure that, such branches are fully fuctioning .He urged members to contribute their quotas towards making the chapter the best one .He went further and reminded members, to use the website excellently , judiciously and productively , by propagating the image of the party and the good works of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama , to Ghanaians and the rest of the world .He scored that, the website should be used to link with other social media platforms with feel- good- stories ,as those platforms have a larger audiences.
The chapter chairman, Mr. Daniel Onyame Tetteh, on his part, in his opening remarks, emboldened all members to come onboard so that the chapter's planned activities outlined during the year could be carry out without problems.
He took me members through the formative years of the chapter in China, by reminding them that, it took several years for formation of this chapter and was few people who were eager to join but currently, the chapter can boast of so many members across China. This he argued, was due to hard work .He said, that the creation of the chapter's is an added plus to his quest to make ndc China chapter viable.
He used the occasion to thank his executives for their supports and urged them to do more especially, this year's campaigns by moving down to Ghana to join forces in the villages to campaign.
