NDC Tri-State NY/NJ/CT Honors Member Of Parliamentarian

The NDC Tri-state chapter in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, US has at a ceremony on Saturday, June 13th, 2009 honored the Member of Parliament for Madina - Abokobi constituency at a ceremony in the Bronx, New York.

Presenting a plaque to the parliamentarian, who is also the chairman of the parliamentary committee for Trade, Industry and Tourism, the second Vice Chairman of the chapter, Alhaji Lukman Mohammed stated that the chapter wished to honor and magnify the Hon. Alhaji Amadu Sorgho’s life work of service to the people of Ghana and especially to the people of Madina-Abokobi.

The Parliamentarian, who is in the United States for a training course organized by the World Bank, thanked the NDC members for the assistance, they have selflessly rendered to the NDC in the past as well as the hospitality and good will that has been shown to him.
