The office of NDC USA secretariat and NDC branches in the U.S.A congratulate the party leadership for conducting an excellent and successful election. The transparency and maturity that characterize the election process from the registration to election time was a huge success in the history of the country. Candidates from various constituencies have shown their love for the party by conducting political differences in a fair and progressive manner without resulting in negative contrast from one another. A value placed on the rule of law and democracy was visible from the registration time to the election period. This is an essential ingredient in partisan politics which can inspires unity of purpose as was lacking in the main opposition party. Contrary to what our adversaries thought could be a failure, this particular primary election has become one of the most admired and successful election exercise ever carried out in the history of primary politics in Ghana.

NDC has always been the party for all. This was made clear when the leadership decided to expand the Electoral College to give voice to the people than to few delegates.

To ensure transparency, free and fair election, the party embarked on biometric registration exercise to capture all registered members of our party. This project was to ensure that, every member of the party exercise their right to choose those who represent them. Full accountability and transparency became the hallmark of this election process. As the saying goes “the voice of the people is the voice of God.”

NDC USA, will like to congratulate the candidates and party executives, both at the national and local levels for holding the banner of the party high. Those of us living abroad deeply appreciate the immense contribution by all who made this election and the victory success. We love you all for the work you do for the party and Mother Ghana at large. Well done!!!!
