NPP UK Youth launches employment database

The Youth Wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), UK branch has launched a Skill-Set Database System aiming to harness the potentials of the youth in the party and also to accelerate economic development drive.

“In this information and technology growing world, it is appropriate that one taps into the great IT opportunities in offering solutions to our challenges", Mr. Richard Gyamfi, the Youth Organiser of NPP UK, explains during their maiden Youth Conference in Manchester.

According to him, "Knowing our outfit potential makes it relatively achievable to liaise with the appropriate state institutions for support and to build capacity to gain competitive advantage”

Mr. Richard Gyamfi revealed the database will be only controlled by the Youth leadership to protect categorisation of the youth information from any other party.

According to him, professions, experiences and skills and competence of the youth will be linked to entities for job opportunities home and abroad.

Richard Gyamfi therefore called for support of the party leadership to give a quota in various job opportunities to the party's youth particular those in abroad

NPP's National Youth Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye popularly called Nana B in his remark congratulated the NPP UK Youth and encouraged them to continue to work together to achieve their objectives.

He also took the opportunity to outdoor the Interim UK TESCON Executives, led by Mac Boansi ( President of the London Metropolitan University) pledging the party's support to the new executives.

The Conference paraded high level dignitaries such as Her Excellency Mrs Rita Tani-Iddi (Deputy High Commissioner to UK), Hon. Nana Ama Dokua (Deputy Information Minister), Hon Kwaku Ampratwum (MP Mampong Constituency and former Chairman of NPP UK), Mr Kwaku Nkansah (Chairman NPP UK), Mr Kwabena Ampofo Appiah (MD, State Housing Company), Mr Kingsley Agyemang (Registrar of Scholarships), Mr Joseph Kumah Mackay ( Director, NEIP), Dr Alolo Mutaka ( Technical Economic Advisor, Office of the Vice President) and Rabi Salifu (Deputy Northern Region Nasara Coordinator)
