We recognize in particular "the able leadership of Mr. Peter Mac-Manu", the National Chairman,"the ever-present" Nana Ohene-Ntow, " the affable Brong Ahafo Regional Chairman Nana Obiri-Boahen", the Nkoranza District Executive, the Brong Ahafo Regional Council of Elders, the various MPs and members of NPP for their dedication and resourcefulness which ensured victory for the party. We also congratulate the people of Nkoranza North for voting massively to elect Major(Rtd) Derrick Oduro as their new MP thus ensuring the retention of the seat by N.P.P. To the Hon(Rtd) Derrick Oduro, we say ‘AYEKOO’ for a job well done.
If the string of electoral successes chalked by the N.P.P says anything at all, it is the loud and clear message to the NDC and other opposition parties that the N.P.P is poised to win the 2008 general elections. By voting to retain the N.P.P the people have strongly rejected the “National Destroyers Congress – N.D.C” and its politics of lies, intimidation, and roguery, in favour of decency, civility, the rule of law and good governance espoused by the N.P.P.
The N.P.P will continue to grow from strength to strength and victory to victory to see to the total development of Ghana our dearly beloved motherland. Enough of the twenty year misrule and mismanagement of the NDC! Thank God the people of Ghana have seen the light and are not in any way willing to go back to the dark days of the NDC.
The pace of progress that is currently on course in Ghana must be sustained at all cost and it is for this reason that we call on all well-meaning Ghanaians to support the good policies of the N.P.P government and work hard to ensure that come 2008, the N.P.P is voted back into power to keep Ghana’s development on course.
Once again we say AYEKOO to Hon.(Rtd) Derrick Oduro for a resounding victory. Long live the N.P.P, long live Ghana, and may God bless us with more peace, stability, and freedom from oppression.
