NY Pays Last Respect To Barbara Boamoah Andoh, DDS, MPH

Barbara Boamoah Andoh, DDS, MPH who died recently in Brooklyn, New York was hardworking and successful in the field of Dentistry and her great persona manifested in the number of Ghanaians who came in huge numbers to pay their last respect to the 34 year old.

There were numerous tributes by her family, friends and colleagues.

The viewing which took place at the Ghanaian Presbyterian Reformed Church of Brooklyn on Flatbush Ave was a remarkable and emotional occasion. The church hall was packed which made the host Pastor, Rev. Samuel Atiemo commented that the church has never been that full and showed the great person Barbara was.

Officiating ministers were, Rev. Samuel Atiemo, Rev. Dr. Felix Busby, Rev. Herbert Oliver, Rev. Dr. Margaret Asabea-AboagyeRev. Dr. E.

Obiri-Ado, Rev. Daniel Ramm, Bishop Tackie-Yarboi and Rev. Elijah Saforo.

The traditional funeral service took place later at the Nazareth High School and those who could not make it to the viewing came to offer their support. Music was provided by Brooklyn's finest heavy hitter and pioneer DJ, Daddy Osei.

In a message to Ghanahomepage, the Andoh and Tetteyfio families and the funeral committees wish to express their sincere gratitude to all those who in diverse ways showed support in prayers, donations and all other means during these difficult days of their lives and do appreciate support from everyone.
