DON’T WASTE YOUR ENERGY ON NEGATIVITY!!!

It has come to the notice of CPP-USA Inc that Ms. Ama Adumea Ohene has written an article that was published in several newspapers and broadcasted on some FM stations in Ghana.

In the article dated August 25, 2008, Ms. Adumea Ohene signed off as “the immediate General Secretary of CPP New York Chapter”. The Executive Committee of CPP USA- Inc views this as a calculated deception intended to erroneously give the impression of representing the position of the committee.

The Executive Committee of CPP-USA Inc wishes to denounce her statements and provide accurate information about its relationship with Ms. Adumea - Ohene, a former secretary of the committee.

On the 26th of July 2008, Ms. Adumea - Ohene resigned from her position as General Secretary of CPP-USA Inc. Therefore, it was wrong for Ms. Ohene to sign off her infamous article of August, 25 2008 as the “immediate” General Secretary of CPP-USA Inc.

Further, in her article, Ms. Adumea - Ohene claimed that she, in conjunction with some people in Ghana and the United Kingdom, have formed a new organization called CPP ULTRA.

Consequently, since Ms. Adumea - Ohene now belongs to CPP Ultra, an organization hostile to the good traditions of the Convention People’s Party, the Executive Committee of CPP-USA INC wishes to distance itself from Ms. Adumea - Ohene’s out breast in every aspect.

On behalf of the Executive committee and the general membership of the CPP-USA Inc, I wish to bring to the attention of the general public that:

a. Ms Adumea - Ohene is NOT the General Secretary of CPP-USA, Inc.

b. Ms.Adumea - Ohene does NOT speak for CPP-USA –Inc

Comrades, the CPP is contesting an important election that will not only determine the destiny of our nation but also the very existence of the CPP.

This fight is tough, but Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom is determined to win and to change the fortunes of the Convention People’s Party. Thus, he needs our encouragement not insult. CPP-USA Inc will therefore ignore the negativity of Ms. Adumea - Ohene and focus on those positive things members in the Diaspora can do to assist CPP loyalists struggling in the wards and constituencies to improve the fortunes of the CPP.
