Rejoinder - NPP UK in turmoil

Our attention has been drawn to a front-page publication in the NDC Informer Newspaper headlined "NPP UK IN TURMOIL OVER AKUFO ADDO 20,000 DOLLAR DONATION”. We wish to state categorically that the NPP UK Branch is not in turmoil neither is it in any state of upheaval over a supposed 20,000 Dollar donation.

The President did not make any donation neither was any dollars given. And so it goes that the NDC’s propaganda agenda will not cease until they see an end to the reign of the NPP under the firm hands of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo. These efforts are very disingenuous.

The Informer if it pays any attention to what goes on in other countries outside Ghana should know that the United Kingdom uses the British pound as its currency so even if President Akufo-Addo was a making a contribution which he did not anyway ,it will be in British pounds not dollars!, therefore the story is not only a fabrication but a pack of lies, “Kwaku Ananse” Storytelling and the usual propaganda trademark of Andy Kankam and the rented press .

The NPP UK is as strong and focused as ever and expanding at a very fast rate with chapters soon to be launched in Scotland and wales. At our last general meeting four former NDC UK members joined the party as new members.

The NPP government achievements and policies and programmes have captured the imagination of disillusioned NDC members who are leaving their party to join us thus it’s no surprise the Informer and their paymasters at NDC Headquarters will stop at nothing to tarnish the image of his excellency President Akuffo-Addo and concoct stories about him and NPP UK.

Under our President, the world looks at Ghana in a highly positive way with world leaders knocking to be a part of the history our Presidency and party are making.

The strides taken by this government from free SHS through to 1D1F all the way to lifting the ban galamsey, let it be known that the NDC is against the good of our people and country.

We call on all Ghanaians there to disregard the publication and demand a retraction and an apology to the Branch and His Excellency the President.
