Roselyn Ngissah to be Honored @ the 3G awards

Fall is almost here and 3G Awards 2015 has become a must attend event in America. The good news is, many popular personalities are ready to attend as well as tickets going fast. One popular celebrity is also coming from Ghana to join celebrate this memorable occasion. The world renowned Roselyn Ngissah has confirmed attending and is also going to be honored. If you are a fan of the great movie; "Somewhere in Africa", she needs no further introduction.

She is a well respected Ghanaian actress who has carved a niche for herself on both local and foreign sectors as her name rings like a bell and her face clamored for by fans across the world. She has paid her dues as far as the African movie industry is concerned. She has grown from strength to strength with the roles she executes with flair.

Her film career began in earnest, when she landed supporting roles in 'Princess Tyra" (2007) produced by Venus films, 'Power of the gods' produced by Gupado and Marhills films and 'Sin of the soul' (2009) by Heroes productions.

Notably, she has played active roles in 'The Miser (series)', 'Adam Apple', 'The Pledge', 'Shackles', 'The C.E.O',kiss me if you can,breaking the rules,purple rose,letters to my mother, devil in a dress, I DO among others. Her zeal has seen her won accolades as well as been nominated in various categories namely: Nominee as Best Supporting at the Ghana Movie Awards in 2011, NaFCA nominee, Los Angeles in 2011, Best Supporting Actress in 2011 and 2012 PAMSA A wards( papyrus magazine screen actors award) in Nigeria, best lead actress AFRIFIMO 2014(african film movement) which was held in washington DC among others. She is undoubtedly a very good actress with a lot of potentials which we have seen on bigger screens via movies which have claimed top notch awards.

The awards night will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2015. The theme is: Change by the Power of One. The event will honor individuals who are making important differences in our world.

The venue will take place in the Bronx at PAK Banquet Hall, 4229 Park Ave, Bronx, NY 10457, USA, off Tremont Ave. The doors will open at 5:00pm with reception and networking going on until 7:00pm. This will be followed by the first face; the awards/dinner and dancing until 11:00pm.

Leading artistes who will entertain at the 2015 ceremony are: Award-winning gospel music star, Steve Kelly; US/Ghana sensational gospel music star; Ewuraba Nyamekye; Matu Saye; Hiplife Sensation, 2Shy; Ghanaian trumpeter Francis Akrofi- the "Louis Armstrong of Africa"; Minister Ike from Canada , Elisante, Praise Dance King, Nana NYC, Kwesould, 6 heavy hitters/ DJs and a live performance by The Ghanaian Catholic Community Church Live Band.

Some of the personalities attending this great event are; New York Senator Ruth Hassell-Thompson, Boxing Legend, Hon. Bernard Quantson, Consul General, Ghana Mission and former light heavyweight and heavyweight champion of the world, Mr. Michael Spinks Boxing Judge/Hall Famer; Lynne Carter, Mr. Tommy Smyth of ESPN, World renowned motivated Speaker and Life Coach, Albert Mensah, other honorees; Pastor Lord Boadu, Rev. Anane Agyei, Actor Bernard Aduse Poku, Daniel Agyei (Kuwait Shipping), Shatta Wale, Tiffany and many dignitaries.
