This week, Roseman’s College of Pharmacy is Henderson is hosting two prominent members of the pharmacy community from Ghana.

Daniel Danquah and Cynthia Anaming-Danquah are visiting with COP administrators, faculty, students and student organizations as they explore opportunities for developing an experiential rotation in Ghana for Roseman student pharmacists.

They are also sharing information about pharmacy practice in an international setting.

The meetings are being spearheaded by Dr. Jeffery Talbot, Assistant Dean for Research and Faculty Development and Associate Professor Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Daniel Danquah is currently a senior member of the Pharmacy Council of Ghana, where he serves as the head of Education and Training.

He is also a consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ghana National Malaria Control Programme, specializing in the prevention of malaria, one of the leading causes of mortality in Sub-Saharan West Africa.

He, along with Cynthia Anaming-Danquah, owns and operates four community pharmacies in the greater Accra and Kumasi regions of Ghana.

Cynthia hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Pharmacology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Pharmacy.

She is also a Superintendent Pharmacist practicing in community pharmacy.
