NDC Canada Chapter in solidarity with Mr. Ibrahim Essandoh and all Ghanaians in Vancouver, BC invite all Ghanaians, Africans and all well-wishers to a:
SOLIDARITY RALLY / PROTEST THIS FRIDAY IN VANCOUVER IN EFFORT TO SAVE THE LIFE OF MR. IBRAHIM ESSANDOH.
The rally will start 11:00 am this Friday May 29, 2009 at the Vancouver Public Library Square. The address is 350 West Georgia Street,Vancouver, BC V6B 6B1, Canada.
The movement is growing and we now have the support of the Consul-General of Ghana, the Federal NDP critic for CIC Olivia Chow, Mr. Ibrahim Essandoh 's Lawyer Habib Bajwa, the doctor of Mr. Ibrahim Essandoh, as well as over 100 people on facebook.
Please arrive at least 10-20 minutes before start of the protest. We will meet at the Vancouver public library square at 10:30 am, speeches start at 11am. We will then walk around the block to CBC and back to where we started. Bring noise makers, drums, and signs.
CTV on May 22, 2009, first broke the news of Mr. Ibrahim Essandoh, a Ghanaian-Canadian resident in Vancouver who needs an immediate kidney transplant. However, his brother in Ghana, who is a perfect match and willing to donate his own kidney, has been denied a visa by the Canadian government. Please join us in saving the life of Mr. Ibrahim Essandoh. Make your signs and posters, as long as they are not profane. Messages related to the need for compassion and equality are welcome, but stay with the issue as much as possible.

If you are a drummer please join us in drumming home the message to save the life of Mr. Ibrahim Essandoh.
