It is our hope and prayer that all Ghanaians would come together and support the President to move the country forward for rapid development of our dear country, Ghana.
Furthermore, we are using this occasion to urge the government to focus on good governance and utilize all resources at its disposal to pursue the better Ghana agenda for the betterment of the citizenry.
To all government officials we wish to remind them that good governance implies that the governors must be accountable to the people, and the people have the right demand stewardship of the governors on issues concerning their security, health, jobs, education, food security, and provision of infrastructure that would make their life worth living. Against this background, all government officials should also do their part to work hard to justify the mandate Ghanaians have given to the party and the government.
We would also like to commend the security services for ensuring that Ghanaians experienced conducive and peaceful atmosphere during and after the court proceedings.
In addition, we the members of the Southern Virginia branch of the NDC wish to express our appreciation to the media for keeping Ghanaians informed on the court proceedings.
Finally, we implore the leadership, Parliamentarians and members of the NPP to put the election petition behind them and cooperate with the government to move Ghana forward. Thank you, and God Bless all Ghanaians.
