Abora, Aug. 6, GNA - Dr. Kwesi Bentum, a psychologist with Bi-county Special Education, has donated tote bags to the Human Service Trust Orphanage at Abora near Cape Coast on behalf of students of Fulton High School in Illinois in the US.

The bags were made by the students at a sewing class as their project work.

Making the donation Dr Bentum said the bags were given to him by the students when he was coming to Ghana to be donated to an orphanage as a sign of their love for orphans and deprived children.

He told the children to be creative and produce items that could be of benefit to them and to their neighbours. Dr Bentum, on behalf of his family, also donated used clothing to the orphanage.

Mrs Nancy Arkorful, the Proprietor of the orphanage, expressed gratitude to the students and the family of Dr Bentum for their donation.

She called for a relationship between the school and the orphanage to enhance exchange of gifts and information.
