The Honourable Deputy Minister for Trade, Industry, Private Sector Development and President?s Special Initiatives of Ghana, Honourable Kwadwo Affram Asiedu, addressed participants at this year?s Swiss Invest Forum organized under the auspices of the Swiss Organisation for Facilitating Investments (SOFI) in Zurich, Switzerland on 20 June, 2007. The Forum, which had as its theme ?Adding Local Value to Natural Resources through International Investment,? was organized for African and some Middle- Eastern Countries, affording them the opportunity of marketing their countries with the view to attracting the much needed Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) into the various sectors of their economies.
