... 38 Million Expected to Travel Today
... Ghanaians 'Chillin' At Home

Today is the day when the United States Thanksgiving holiday travel begins in earnest. 38.3 million Americans are expected to travel at least 50 miles from home, an increase of nearly three percent from last year.

And despite increasing prices for hotel rooms, rental cars and airfares, airports and highways will be busier than ever. Nearly five million people are expected to travel by airplane, and almost two million by train, bus or another mode of transportation.

However, a non-scientific poll among Ghanaians living on the east coast of the US indicates that, most Ghanaians will be staying home. Out of the 30 people polled, only 3 had any plans of spending the holidays away from home.

"Onua, I am saving for the christmas, no need to overspend" said Kofi who lives in Virginia

"... I will use the time to catch up on some school work", said Alhaji a student a university in NY.
