Saturday, April 28th, 2012 was a memorable day for Mr. Kwame Asuo, a popular Master of Ceremonies from New York and his lovely wife; Joyce Boakye (Emelio). The proud parents celebrated the outdooring of their bundle of joy; Udell Kesewa Asuo.
The event occurred at the Ghanatta Hall, Webster Avenue, Bronx, New York. It was well attended by family members and friends of the couple.
The Chairperson was Mr. Kwabena Manu, a Union Negotiator for Westchester Government employees and also Editor in Chief of 3G Magazine.
The Co-Chairperson was Ms. Gladys Amankwaah of New Kantamanto African Market, Bronx, NY.
Godfather - Prophet Awuah and Godmother - Madam Mercy Awuku. Grandparents - Mr. Bright Nyarko and Madam Akua Mansah.
Nana Kwabena Adom was the MC and co-MC was Nana Osei, the popular "heavy hitter" who was on the wheel of steel and provided non-stop great music.
Among the noted personalities were; Nana Okokyeredom Acheampong, NY Asantefuohene and Nana Kwabena Amakye (NY Akwamuhene).
The event was blessed by Apostle Alexander Adu Gyamfi from Bible Believers Tabernacle; BBT.
The unusual and unique moment which brought humor to the occasion was the introduction of the couple. They were ushered in by the sweet sound of renowned trumpeter/entertainer; Francis Akrofi which became the talk of the evening.
The dance floor was packed as many guests enjoyed the great mixes from DJ Naasei. They also applauded Asuo and Joyce for such a wonderful evening.It will also be noted that Asuo is also a member of the big organization; Ghana Taxi Drivers Association, The organization also runs the Ghanatta Hall and members also represented.Asuo and his family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all who came to offer their support in diverse ways.
