The 9th Congressional District in Michigan is about to get the attention and clout it deserves with the election of independent candidate for US Congress Dr. Matthew Kuofie. The 9th Congressional District has suffered from the pains of the economic recession and the horrors of the foreclosure drama. The citizens of the district deserve a congressman that has the skills and depth to address the economic upheaval many business and families are experiencing during this recession. The voters of the 9th Congressional district truly need the representation and services of Dr. Kuofie who is running as an independent for the congressional seat in the 9th district.
Dr. Kuofie holds a Ph D in Systems Engineering from Oakland University, Michigan; an MBA in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University, Illinois; and an MS in Computer Science from Old Dominion University, Virginia, all from USA. He also holds a BS in Statistics and Mathematics from the University of Ghana.
Professor Kuofie is a renowned global business, marketing and information technology professor as well as a global business consultant. He interacts with government officials in USA and many other countries. Just last year, he presented "A Strategic Model for Addressing the Global Economic Crises” in Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE, UK and US.
Dr. Matthew Kuofie is also the CEO of Global Strategic Management Incorporated (GSMI) — a consortium of international experts living in countries all over the world. The international experts have many years of practice in all fields of business, academic and government. GSMI helps governments, organizations, and individuals around the world apply best practices in governance, business and information technology areas so as to optimize processes, go global, go high tech, achieve and sustain competitive advantage, and improve quality of life/economic development.
Prof Kuofie also teaches/has taught, given seminars, and/or organized conferences at various universities, including the University of Michigan, USA; Chou University, Japan; Fudan University, China; Management Development Institute, India; University of Technology in Sydney, Australia; and University of Ghana, Ghana. His research interests include global business strategies, economic development, and information technology. Prof. Kuofie has published numerous journal and conference papers. He has served as chairperson at a number of international conferences. He serves as an editor-in-chief of some journals, including the International Journal of Global Business.
Dr. Kuofie intends to bring his expertise in business, academic and relations with governments to the United States Congress to work for the betterment of his congressional district, United States and the world at large. Dr. Kuofie will focus on addressing the economic crisis and the related issues impacted by the economic crisis on a local and national level.
