The West London Chapter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP-UK) has demonstrated renewed energy, organisation and strategic focus as it positions itself for the 2028 general elections, following a highly engaging face-to-face meeting held last Sunday.

The gathering, organised by the Chapter Chairman, Isaac Appiah-Kubi, brought together party faithful, grassroots organisers and executives from across the branch.

This reflected a growing sense of unity and purpose within the diaspora wing of the party.

The strong turnout and high level of engagement underscored a chapter increasingly aligned around a shared goal: to contribute meaningfully to the party’s electoral success both in Ghana and abroad.

Key speakers at the event included Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, former Majority Leader of Ghana’s Parliament, Irene Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, Chief Executive Officer of the Sompahemaa Foundation and Sammy Crabbe, former Second Vice Chairman of the NPP.

In their respective addresses, the speakers delivered a consistent message centred on unity, internal restructuring, discipline and strategic mobilisation as the foundation for victory in 2028.

They cautioned against divisive narratives and emphasised the need for members to prioritise collective progress over individual interests.

The meeting also reinforced growing confidence in Mahamudu Bawumia, who was widely described by participants as the right person and the party’s strongest option heading into the 2028 elections.

Members stressed that this moment calls for responsibility, unity and a shared commitment to rally behind him for victory.

In a brief interaction with members, Chairman Isaac Appiah-Kubi emphasised the importance of structure, strategy and grassroots mobilisation, noting that sustained organisation and unity will be key to the party’s success moving forward.

In a moment that blended politics with community spirit, the chapter also marked Mother’s Day, celebrating the invaluable contributions of mothers within the party.

The occasion was observed with appreciation and the cutting of a commemorative cake, adding warmth and unity to the day’s proceedings.

Observers noted that, under the coordination of Chairman Appiah-Kubi, the West London Chapter continues to distinguish itself through structured organisation, active grassroots engagement and a forward-looking strategic posture qualities increasingly seen as essential to the party’s broader rebuilding efforts.

With a clear emphasis on systems, strategy, and grassroots mobilisation, the chapter’s activities reflect growing confidence that the NPP, anchored on unity and disciplined leadership, can position itself strongly for victory in the 2028 general elections.
