Nana Ama Ofosuaa Charlotte bids for NPP USA Women Organiser

Nana Ama Ofosuaa Charlotte has officially declared her intention to contest for the position of Women Organiser of the NPP USA Branch, outlining a vision anchored on unity, empowerment, inclusiveness, and active participation among women within the party.

In a declaration announcing her candidature, Charlotte stressed the significant role women continue to play in the growth and success of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), both in Ghana and across the diaspora.

According to her, while women have consistently demonstrated loyalty and commitment to the party, there is a need to strengthen structures that ensure every woman within the branch feels heard, valued, recognised, and actively involved in decision-making processes.

“This is more than a campaign. It is a call to rebuild, reconnect, and rise together as women committed to the progress of our party and the advancement of our branch,” she stated.

Charlotte also paid tribute to the current Women’s Organiser, commending her dedication, sacrifices, and years of service to the women’s wing. She described her contributions as a strong foundation upon which future progress can be built.

She indicated that her vision for the women’s wing includes deepening engagement among women across all chapters, promoting mentorship and inclusiveness, increasing participation in party activities, improving communication and support systems, and building a united and impactful women’s front within the NPP USA Branch.

Charlotte noted that effective leadership must be grounded in humility, teamwork, accessibility, and genuine service to the people.

“As women, our strength is unmatched when we work together with a common purpose.

I am stepping forward with a willing heart to serve and to work hand in hand with every woman to build a stronger and more vibrant women’s wing,” she said.

She has therefore appealed to delegates, party faithful, and members of the NPP USA Branch to support her candidature and vision for the position of Women's Organiser.

Her campaign is being driven by the slogan, “Together, from presence to power.”
