..Widow Appeals To Gov't
Madam Betty Vanderpuye, 39, widow of a Ghanaian laboratory technician who was killed by unknown assailants in the US last two months, has appealed to the government to investigate the motive behind the murder.
She told the GNA in an interview in Accra that the death of her 40-year-old husband Mr. Churchill Jones had brought an end to over 18 years of marriage blessed with two children.
“My husband left Ghana 13 years ago for the US and I have since not seen him. His children now between the ages of 15 and 17 got to know their father only through pictures”.
Mrs. Vanderpuye said a thorough investigation into the death of her husband was the only way to arrest the killer and get a reasonable financial package to assist her family.
