Asante Kotoko captain, Amos Frimpong, is likely to be stripped off his leadership role in the team, this is according reports emerging from the Ashanti Region.
The reports indicates that, new coach of Kotoko, Fabin Paa Kwesi Fabin, is likely to hand the new captaincy role to goalkeeper Felix Annan.
Annan has been tipped to lead Kotoko for the upcoming football season as they target winning the Ghana Premier League and defending their FA Cup title.
Kotoko failed to progress to the second round of this year’s Caf Confederations Cup which lead to coach Steve Polack being axed.
