AshGold suffered their second home defeat of the season as Bechem United edged them by a goal to nil at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
16-year-old striker Prince Adu Kwabena scored the only goal of the game in the first half.
This is the Miners second home defeat of the season, having first lost at home against Berekum Chelsea.
Bechem United who had been poor travellers this season have ended their 6 games without a win on the road. They had lost five and drawn 1.
Meanwhile, Aduana Stars also piped WAFA by a goal to nil at the Sogakope Stadium.
Yahaya Mohammed scored the only goal of the game in the second half.
This has handed Aduana Stars their third away win of the season and are in contention for the Ghana Premier League.
WAFA have also lost their second home defeat- they first lost 0-1 against Liberty Professionals.
