Baba Rahman is working hard to regain fitness
Ghana defender Baba Rahman is exuding confidence ahead of the new Bundesliga season after joining the rest of the Schalke O4 team for their second phase of preseason in Austria.
The on-loan Chelsea defender has been immense in preseason, going through all the physical drills and ball work from coach Domenico Todesco.
The German giants left of Austria on Monday to continue with their preseason activities after finishing last season second in the Bundesliga.
Schalke will be involved in Champions League football hence the rigorous preseason schedule.
The German club lost their first preseason friendly on Sunday to Erzgebirge Aue by a goal to nil.
Baba Rahman played 45 minutes of the game to add to the matches played in preseason.
The former Augsburg defender has played only once since getting injured in the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon last year.
Schalke will return to Germany on 8th August but have scheduled another friendly with French side Angers on the penultimate day of the trip. The game will be played at the Waldstadion in Mittersill.
