Midfielder Godfred Donsah made a return to action on Sunday for Bologna after more than one month out due to injury.
He was a 75th-minute substitute in the 2-1 home defeat to Chievo Verona in the penultimate league fixture.
The Ghana international suffered a knee injury in 1-0 defeat at Crotone on 8 April and had to be substituted at half time.
He sprained his right knee and was estimated to spend 30 days on the sidelines.
Donsah has scored two goals in 28 Serie A appearances this term.
