Hearts of Oak midfield dynamo Winful Cobbinah has expressed his disappointment in their draw with WAFA in the Zylofon Cash Premier League on Thursday.
The silky attacker was handed the captain's armband in the Week 13 clash against the Academy Boys as the Phobians were held to a goalless stalemate at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The 26-year-old was over the moon to have been handed the responsibility to lead his side but lamented on their failure to make the day a memorable one.
"It felt different and I am really proud to captain Hearts in our match with Wafa," Cobbinah told his club's official website.
"I would have loved to cap the day with victory but it did not happen that way.
"I feel we wasted a lot of chances in the first half. Things would have been different if we had taken the lead.
"The result feels like we lost the match because of the way we played."
"We played really well but just that we could not do what matters most - which is put the ball at the back of the net.
"You can see we are all disappointed and unhappy with the result."
The result has left Hearts of Oak in 10th on the log, three places behind their opponents.
