Hearts of Oak has through a statement assured fans that Coach Edward Nii Odoom remains the head coach of the club to rubbish reports indicating that there could be a change in the technical head soon.
“Hearts of Oak is aware that some mischievous characters always concoct stories to satisfy their selfish ends but we remain focused and will not be swayed by these false reports”, a post on the club’s Twitter page said today.
The club further stressed that they call on supporters of the Rainbow family to give coach Odoom all their support.
“Hearts of Oak wants to reiterate that Coach Odoom remains our head coach and therefore calling on all Phobians to offer him all the necessary support”.
This assurance and clarification from the Accra-based club are coming as a result of reports in the last 12 hours which purported that management was planning to bring in a new gaffer in the person of ex-Ashgold trainer Svetislav Tanasijevi?.
