President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to address the nation tonight on the easing of coronavirus related restrictions, Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has said.
In a tweet by the minister on Sunday, June 21, 2020, the president will address the nation ahead of the re-opening of Senior High Schools (SHS) for final year and Gold track students under the Free SHS programme.
"Ahead of the re-opening of SHS for final year and Gold track students Prez @NAkufoAddo will later tonight update Ghanaians on the easing of restrictions and its impact," Kojo Oppong Nkrumah's tweet read.
The official communications team at the Presidency says the address will be delivered at 8 PM GMT.
In his last address to the nation, the President announced the pathway for a partial reopening of schools for final year University students to allow them to undertake their exams.
